Refund policy

At gemmer., we put time, care and craftsmanship into every piece we make. Each product is handmade, and we want you to be happy with your purchase.

Returns

If you change your mind about your purchase, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

To qualify for a return, the item must be unused, unworn and in its original condition. Proof of purchase is required.

To request a return, please contact us at sales@gemmer.co.za before sending the item back. Once your return has been approved, we will provide you with the relevant return instructions.

Unless the product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, return courier costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will let you know whether the refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Please note that your bank or payment provider may require additional time to process and reflect the refund after it has been issued.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us at sales@gemmer.co.za within 10 days of receiving your order, together with your proof of purchase and photographs of the issue where applicable.

We will assess the item and arrange the appropriate repair, replacement or refund where applicable.

1-Year Workmanship Guarantee

All gemmer. leather goods come with a 1-year workmanship guarantee covering stitching, fittings and hardware.

The guarantee does not cover scratches, marks, colour variations or general wear that naturally occurs as genuine leather ages and develops its unique patina.

Repairs & Care

Once the guarantee period has passed, we offer a repair and maintenance service. We will assess your item and provide a quote before any work is undertaken.

We also offer a refresh service at R250, which includes gentle cleaning and conditioning to help restore the leather's natural finish.

Handmade Leather

Every gemmer. piece is handmade from genuine leather. Natural variations in colour, grain and texture are characteristics of genuine leather and mean that no two pieces will be exactly alike.
